When Graffiti are invited to take part to the whole decoration of a shop...
Et voilà qui n'est pas banal ! Vous vous souvenez des oiseaux repérés dans la ville, des collages très colorés offerts aux murs de Sofia ? C'était dans le roman-photo de Sofia du mois de juillet. D'emblée, en entrant dans la boutique, j'ai repéré le style, les oiseaux d'abord,
Translation for my non-French speakers friends (PS/ Hello Elysabeth !) :
Do you remember ? I show you last summer, strange lovely birds being glued on some public wall in the city center, they were full of colors... have a look there. Immediatly after few steps in this shop, I recognized the style, so typical first belonging to the bird and fish I saw in the street few months before...
puis des chats déguisés, des chiens froussards ou encore des maisons en pagaille....
There, there was also disguised funny cats, scarry dogs and tiny coloured houses, plenty on the walls
J'en oubliais d'en regarder les articles de la boutique qui s'appelle "MAGASIN NEIGE" et qui propose des vêtements de deuxième choix.
I was so marvelled, I forgot to have a look on the products they sale (it is a second-hand shop with funny clothes), its name is SNOW SHOP, just because the two girls working there are really found of snow !
La cabine d'essayage, c'était aussi la salle de bains dans un autre style.

Après avoir discuté avec la jeune fille qui tenait la boutique, j'ai appris qu'elles étaient deux à dessiner et que l'une d'elle voulait partager ses oiseaux avec la ville, c'est pourquoi elle en avait collés quelques-uns dans les rues ! Fabuleux !After few words with the young Miss working in the icy shop, I discorvered that they are two who draw, and that one of them wanted to share her birds with the City, that why she put one in the xity center... Fantastic !

I have always been fascinating by graffiti, it's a very innovative form of art and transform ugly walls and buildings!
ReplyDeleteThey seem to be more and more used under control now,meaning that they getting recognised as a real form of Art!
Cet été je me suis achetée un tableau en Bulgarie, dans le même style un peu déjanté, un peu naïf, mais tellement frais ! Merci pour ce chouette reportage!
